much better price than name brand, yet works just as well. My allergies are terrible a combination of this using this with the Nedi pot keeps my allergies in check (and OTC allergy meds-Walmart varied choices)

Rank is actually between 3 and 4 but there’s no 3.5 star so I decided to explain my ranking.
Normally this generic for Flonase spray helps prevent cat dander allergy reactions for me, truly important with a 3 cat home when I visit my granddaughter. Generally this spray is without side fx but recently it seems to have brought on headaches within 12 hours of use. I can’t be positive, having not ruled out other variables such as forced air from a heater or ragweed season at this time. Headache appears to have been coming on only days I’d sprayed with the fluticasone so it’s made me suspicious. I tend to buy a double pak and keep using all through ragweed season and again at pine pollen season. I think it’s a good medication for a preventative, but I’m just not sure if the dosage strength has been altered or other additive components have possibly changed. It will be a better test once winter passes and we get out of the hot house air impact. I’d still recommend this particular brand substitute and suggest staying with it to prevent histamine reactions. So many people I’ve talked to seem to believe its more for symptom relief and don’t use it correctly. It’s a preventative to block reactions so there’s no symptom later on, rather than the other way around! I’ll keep trying to gather more information that could help rule out potential side effect changes.

It worked! Almost too well. I had to wean myself off it. It’s not supposed to be addictive but can someone explain to me how you CAN NOT be addicted to being able to freely breathe through your nostrils and not needing to sniffle.
I went from using this an embarrassing amount (what can I say, I like to breathe through normal sized nostrils), to maybe one spray a week. I am trying to do less. My body somehow adjusted to as soon as I think I might have to sneeze, I spray. I was like Pavlov’s dog. I bought an air purifier and realized that I did not need to spray nearly as much.
This was not because of me just waking up and realizing I needed to get my act together, mind you. After many unintended side effects like dizziness, nosebleeds, white nostrils, crusties, BURNING NOSTRILS, I finally figured out that I was doing it to myself. After weaning I have had zero bad side effects. No telling what the extended steroid use has done to my nostrils. I’ll tell you one thing, it def didn’t give me muscles…
